Nineteenth century subterranean dwelling named “silo”, typical of La Mancha, excavated by its future residents. The “silos” characteristically lack beams, columns and partition walls, and have few openings.

The Silo del Tío Colorao is well preserved; the interior is divided in kitchen and two bedrooms. Some of the furniture belonged to its last owner, and the rest has been donated by neighbors so as to complete the portrayal of domestic atmosphere. Two families used to live In this “silo”.
