The first documents related to the Palace are from the fourteenth century. The building has been adapted to different uses throughout its history, it has been House of Pounds, Royal Prison, etc. The Palace serves as an Interpretation Center of the life and reign of Isabella I of Castile “la Católica”, highlighting the last stage of the Queen’s life, in Medina del Campo. It shows a recreation of the Queen’s bedroom and the replica of the Will and Codicil, which she dictated in this Palace in 1504.
