The house where Pau Casals was born maintains the atmosphere of a humble family’s house of the nineteenth century. A two-story building, with balconies, high and narrow. The ground floor presents the musician’s childhood in this region, through photographs and significative musical instruments that marked the beginning of the Master’s career: the empty pumpkin that was his first cello and the “dulzaina” (Breton bombarde). A narrow staircase leads the visitor to the two floors that the family occupied.
