Former fishermen’s house with a seventeenth century architectural style. It was acquired in the twentieth century by poet and publisher Carlos Barral (1928-1989), who restored it. There are three floors, with seven rooms. Original furniture and memorabilia is conserved. One of the aims of the institution, inspired by the privileged testimony given by his literary works, is to recover the traditions and customs of Calafell’s maritime community.
