The Valle-Inclán Museum is located in a stately building from the sixteenth century, known as the Torre de Bermúdez in memory of the Valle-Inclán family, its owners in the nineteenth century. Afterwards it was sold and, over time, in a ruinous condition. Its status as a National Monument since 1976 and how it relates to don Ramón María del Valle Inclán, made the City Council of A Pobra decide to promote its restoration, thus satisfying the wish of the writer. Currently it’s a Museum dedicated to this figure, in which visitors can learn about his character and work and enjoy a diverse collection of documents, art works and personal belongings. It also offers rich and varied cultural events.
