Medieval fortress built over an old “castro” (pre-roman fortification). It has undergone alterations and restorations due to various historical vicissitudes, among which the attack of the Irmandiños in the fifteenth century and the fire in the seventeenth century stand out. It conserves  part of the wall and the original keep. The interior of the keep, comprised of four floors, has been turned into a Museum, with a furniture collection donated by Dr. López Suárez.
